Self awareness brings change
How can I help you?
We're told that all we need to do is be ourselves and we'll be just fine.
This sounds amazing and very encouraging.
But what if your experiences have led you to feel shame?
What if your self esteem is now so low that you just can't risk rejection?
It can feel safer to be who people want you to be.
But being who people want you to be will leave you feeling alone.
Being comfortable with yourself as you truly are allows you to have real relationships with others, relationships with meaning and where your needs are met.
Working on your relationship with yourself is a great way to enhance communication with others and build positive relationships with those you care about.
I'm Laura and I help people build good relationships with others and with themselves.
I became a counsellor because I understand what it's like to live life feeling disconnected from yourself, feeling ashamed, rejected and alone. I want to help people gain connection with themselves and with the people that matter most to them.

"I saw Laura during a very difficult period in my life. She made me feel comfortable to talk. Laura made me realise that my fears and challenges during this time were valid and it was ok to feel overwhelmed. After each session, I left feeling much more positive."
